Tell us your blogging story. When did you start? Why did you start? Everything
The day I started blogging, was the day I started thinking. Truth be told, I have started blogging for money, I got a suggestion, so that when I will get good traffic, people will click on ads and I will get money. But these day dreams never turned into reality.
Now I have totally forgot what ad sense is. Now the only thing I do is to post what I want. I joined Indiblogger, and started posting my post over there. I write everything that I see, whenever I get inspired, or whenever I feel that something is wrong with the world.
I also have found some conclusion during my writing experience-
People don't need knowledge, cause they have enough. Lots of people, especially blogging person always thinks that they are intelligent, and when they think in this way, then they do not accept those thing that denies their thoughts. So if you are writing about politics and social rights, then you are not going to get good traffic, until unless you are a big celeb. People will debate on the blog of their favorite star, so they could show their support towards them.
People like free entertainment. If you are providing any free entertainment thing, people love it, but you thing should be unique and new. In this modern era of information, everybody knows everything, cause everyone has what you have.
In old times if you write one paper and get published then it took 15 more days to publish again, here after every 15 minutes you get publish. If you are famous you get 1500 likes per seconds, or if you are new then even after fifteen month you barely get 15 likes. Its all about people. Its all about knowing audience mood. For instance, if there is an IPL, and you write about people get concerned about what is going on. If there is an election, and you write about it, people wants to know what's going on. But very few people would like to know the history of elections, because they don't need knowledge they need information.
So, now a days, people prefer information rather than knowledge. The whole blogging system has became an ocean of information, and we all want to sail in it.
Keep blogging :)
