What does happiness mean to you? Do you go looking for happiness? #Happiness
I want to share one of my story that defines happiness for me. It was a time when my family was in financial trouble. We didn't have any great wealth that time. We had one firm which was not getting any more work, the previous payments were stuck in accounts. And my father also had a shop of auto parts (Spare parts of four wheeler ). It was about a year, we had opened that shop. So we didn't have that much incoming also. I was fourteen years old that time. I was about to enter in 11th class. And in my opinion, a fourteen year old should not think about financial condition of his/her family.
My parents never let us realize that we are not like others. When we see other children buying their favorite toys, we still never asked our father to buy it, but don't know how he know what we want. And no matter what the cost is he buy that thing for us. After school we used to spend our other time on shop. My brother had to attend some of his tuition, he was preparing IIT. So I was alone on the shop, and I used to think what can I do to change all this.
One day, my father had a conversation with me and my brother. In short he wanted us to do hard work to get government college because my father was unable to pay fee of private college. And inside, me and my brother both knew that my father won't be able to pay govt. college fee too. This is not just the story of my home, but many other general category student, who has to score high in entrance exam, because there is no reservation for us. And even if you did make good scores, but there is no seat for generals anymore, then you will be in great trouble.
After surviving a year like that, I came to know that mom gave her bangles to pay the rent of room. Suddenly my father decided to open another firm on the name of my mom. And he did. This time it was on my mothers name. He used to go Hanuman temple every morning 8 AM. My elder brother used to look after the shop, I was in Lucknow that time. And after a year my father got a contract to overhaul a CW motor, by which we got 3,00,000 rs. deal. But by some politics we got 1,00,000. But by that hard work we proved that we can change it. The first thing we did was getting my mom's bangle back.
So the pursuit of happiness takes time but it do come in the end. So just go and get it. :)
Thank you
