Why we go to school for gaining knowledge( What's wrong with the world?)

I was thinking about gaining knowledge, as usually,when you think of knowledge which thing first comes into your mind? every person on the earth would think of a school. My question to most of schools is that why we gain that knowledge? The answer should be,"We gain knowledge so that we would make ourselves able to earn our bread and butter." But does going to school teaches you how to earn, no mostly they teaches you how to run or you could say how to get higher grades. But knowledge gaining can be fun if teachers will teach you in that way. I have such experience with some teachers, but not everybody is like that. We need a different kind of training of our teachers so they could provide us knowledge not grades. I haven't attended any college, but still I know computer science, I won't say that I know better than those college students, because then, it will also create a race. And I don't want to be in 'Rat race'.                        My point is about knowledge. I have googled "Literacy percentage in India". And I find out that the average of literacy in Indian state is more than 70%. Kerala and lakshadweep are on top with more than 90%. Bihar is the lowest with 63 %. Our Uttar pradesh is 69 %. And if you see it as unemployment. The most literate states are ranked worst. Kerala has most unemployed people in there states. While Gujarat has literacy percent more than 70% and also has nice Employment control. Because Gujraat produce work, they do not ask for work. What is the worth of knowledge or skill if you cannot use it. Our knowledge should produce work so that our literacy percentage will also give result as employment control. How come this that most literate state of our country has the highest unemployment rank also. In our state Uttar pradesh I have found that colleges are not that good. Even after studying B Tech. they apply for peon jobs, because they do not have any knowledge of their track line. Our colleges have failed in giving proper knowledge to our students. And I think We need to raise our standard as a college. And we should provide appropriate knowledge properly to our students.          Anyway this was for high class students who even get admissions in college. But , what about those who didn't go to school. We often see children on traffic signals, and nobody truly tend to help them. I have heared that for those backward people, study from class 1 to 8 is free. But I have never seen any of those poor attending the school. But some lower middle class backward people do send their children to government schools. But they also never get any profit of sending their children to school. Because our government schools never provide any proper education to their students. So we also need to work on ground level to improve our knowledge quality. Knowledge is knowledge when it liberates, when it produce happiness, when it cure the wounds, when it spread the light, when it removes the darkness. All we need to do is to conquer the people with knowledge
