पृथ्वियां त्रीणि रत्नानि जलमन्नम् सुभाषितं |
मूढै पाषाढ़ खण्डेषु रत्न संज्ञा विधीयते ||
The above shloka taken from Sanskrit shubhashitaani. This shloka teaches us a lot of things. It says that our whole earth has only three main elements, which actually belong to us. That is water, food, and our good behaviour, good talk or sweet talk. Our most of life depends on how we interact to each other.How much we love each other, how much we provide help to each other. The water and food are obvious elements that is necessary for human beings. The scientific research find the elements in the pieces of rocks. But we search our life to the things that actually belongs to our life. They search life on Mangal(mars). But we search Mangal(enjoy) in life. This is the difference that makes us Indian.
Indian always have been a different source of knowledge. Other philosophy gives world what world wants, but we give what people of world need.
न चोराहार्यम् न च राजहार्यम्,
न भ्रातृभाज्यं न च भारकारि।
व्यये कृते वर्धत एव नित्यं,
विद्याधनं सर्वधनप्रधानम्॥
The most valuable asset that we have is our wisdom, our knowledge and our experience. Because through these three asset we push the boundaries of world. We fetch the human race forward. The meaning of above shloka is that Vidhya(Knowledge) neither can be taken from the king(Government) nor can be theft by any thief. Neither your brother or any other family member could take any part of it. The more you will spend it the more it will grow. The asset of knowledge is the father of all other assets of our life.
In this shloka you can see the ancient terminology. How higher thinking they had in that time. Our Indian philosophy and science used to stay at the top in those time. After 11th century when India became slave. From Mughals to british each and every king or general looted India. They brought starvation and despair to our country. After 1947 India began to develop, and till now we are developing our country. But we have to understand and recognize the power of the knowledge of our ancient saints. If we would develop the knowledge that has been written in vedas and other ancient books, we could find some new and different technology from others. Just like our philosophy our tech is also different from others.
As another sloka of ours says, सा विद्या या विमुक्तये। That is knowledge which liberates.
As another sloka of ours says, सा विद्या या विमुक्तये। That is knowledge which liberates.
I still believe that India can be a great source of knowledge again. All we need is to regain our pure and original knowledge.
Thank you.
